I heard from my friends and contacts in Singapore that there will be a function in the TraceTogether app where you can use the app to do SafeEntry. When will this be available to short-term visitors (non SC/PR/LTPH) to Singapore?

As Singapore opens up further, residents and short-term visitors will be required to use TraceTogether (the App or Token) to check in to a system known as SafeEntry. This system logs the entry and exit of visitors at popular venues such as malls, dining venues and places of interest. 

As of Dec 2020, the SafeEntry check-in feature on TT app is currently not available for short-term visitors who registered for the app using their passport numbers. It will be upgraded by January 2021 to allow short-term visitors to do SafeEntry check-ins at these public venues.
