Venues should deploy them at entrances that fulfills the following:
- Main entrances: Entrances which visitors use to enter venues. For example, shopping malls should deploy SEGW at each main entrance.
- Manned entrances: A mall should only deploy SEGW devices at entrances where enforcement personnel are present. Closed entrances should not have SEGWs.
- Public-facing: SEGW need not be deployed at non-customer-facing entrances, such as staff entrances, goods delivery entrances, fire escape exits.
